Velpharm in the all-Russian program "Sirius. Summer: start your project! " In August 2020, the pharmaceutical plant "Velpharm" became one of the partners of the All-Russian program "Sirius. Summer: start your project! ", which helps to identify talented young people to work on urgent tasks of Russian science and business.
A project to search for and implement scientific and technological projects, as well as mentors for schoolchildren was launched within the framework of the concept of" Smart Rest ", declared at a meeting on May 21 this year with President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Currently, a team of mentors is being formed - students of the Faculty of Chemistry of Kurgan State University. In September 2020, in gymnasiums and secondary schools of the region, with the participation of the Department of Education and Science of the Kurgan Region, a start will be given to the creation of teams of students to work on project tasks. Throughout the academic year, schoolchildren with mentors, with the consulting support of candidates of sciences and young scientists of the region, will be engaged in research.
Participation in the program will contribute to solving urgent production issues of the enterprise, as well as attracting candidates motivated for employment to the plant, who can be seen in real business. Working on relevant practical project tasks will help schoolchildren to determine their future profession, prepare projects for participation in all-Russian and international competitions, including the competition of scientific and technical projects "Big Challenges". A reserve of candidates will be created from the composition of students for admission to Kurgan State University and other prestigious universities of the country in accordance with the profile of the plant for targeted admission of "Velpharm".
