Nimesulide is recommended for therapy as a second-line drug.
The dosage regimen is selected individually, taking into account the severity of the condition.
Adults and children over 12 years old
inside 1 tablet (100 mg) 2 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 200 mg. The tablets are taken with a sufficient amount of water, preferably after a meal. In the presence of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, it is advisable to take the drug at the end of a meal or after a meal. The minimum effective dose should be used as short as possible. The recommended duration of treatment is 5 days. The maximum duration of treatment is 15 days.

Patients with kidney failure
patients with chronic renal failure require a reduction in the daily dose to 100 mg. In patients with mild to moderate renal failure (creatinine clearance of 30-60 ml / min), dose adjustment is not required, in patients with severe renal failure (creatinine clearance of less than 30 ml / min) nimesulide is contraindicated
